Miles Davis' famous original "cool" jazz recordings from 1949/50 with Gerry Mulligan, Kai Winding, J.J. Johnson, Lee Konitz, Max Roach, Kenny Clarke, and a bunch of other legends. Released a few years later on this Capitol LP, T-762. This copy is very nice. There are some scuffs and light marks, but I had it ultrasound-cleaned and it plays mostly quite beautifully. There is a touch of background noise between tracks and occasionally in quiet parts, but it is barely noticeable at all. There are occasional light pops, but not bad. Mostly the first tune on the first side has some small pops at first but they don't last long. Overall this copy really sounds nice. The cover is also in good shape, with no rips or seam splits. There is a bit of general shelfwear, mostly in the form of lightly dinged corners and edgewear at the open edge, but there is barely any ringwear or markings to detract from the striking cover art. A beautiful copy.
