It was issued in April 2014, exclusively for 'Record Store Day' on the ‘Sony Music’ label (cat no. 88843043007) as a 7” Picture Disc vinyl in a Limited run, and comes in a clear plastic envelope-style sleeve.

'Midnight Memories' was the title track of the third One Direction album, and was released as the third single from the album. It reached the Top 10 in a number of countries around the world and peaked at #12 on the US Billboard 'Hot 100' chart. Over in the UK, it was less successful, only scraping into the Top 40 at #39.

The Limited Edition single features unseen photos, and the flipside features a live version of ‘Rock Me’, taken from the documentary, ‘One Direction: This Is Us’.
