Absolutely gorgeous copy of the famous Dorati version of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, and the Capriccio Italien, on original 1958 Mercury Living Presence Stereo colorback LP SR-90054. This copy is simply flawless. The disc is mint and appears unplayed. Well, I played it; I couldn't resist. I have rarely had a chance to hear a perfectly mint copy of this classic, and it is absolutely a wonderful experience. Even the spoken commentary by Deems Taylor is breathtaking. This is a top, gem of a copy. The cover is also near perfect, with barely the slightest hint of any wear, except a name written in red on the back. Hard to beat this copy.
