MINT (M)

This record looks like it has just left the manufacturer. It looks as it has never been handled. No scuffs, scratches or stains, so completely new!

NEAR MINT (NM)

This record is almost new, still has a great luster, with maybe some very minor hairlines or scuffs which are only visible under a strong light. Will look almost new!

EXCELLENT (EX)

The record may have a few minor scuffs or hairlines which are visible but still won't effect play. Label can have some small marks. Still decent condition for collector's.

VERY GOOD + (VG+)

Record shows some wear, surface scuffs with maybe a small scratch on it (will be mentioned). The flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye and surface noise can be hearable. The label can have spines or a decent writing.

VERY GOOD (VG)

Record shows wear, scuffs, some deeper scratches. The flaws will easily be visable to the naked eye, also surface noise, pops, clicks can be hearable. The label can have spines, names, signatures or stickers,...

 

 

COVER GRADE:

CONDITION:

MINT (M)

No stickers or writing on the cover. No wear to the cover. All corners are still sharp. Can still be in the manufacturing plastic. Will look completely new!

NEAR MINT (NM)

The cover looks as close to new with only some minor signs of age, wear on the corners / sides. Almost new condition!

EXCELLENT (EX)

Some imperfections to the cover, minor ring wear, some very slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye. Can have signs of a small removed sticker from the cover or decent name written.

VERY GOOD + (VG+)

 The cover looks more aging. Can have some writings on cover, has some creases, bumped corners, sticker or signs of removed stickers, can have small seam-split or small tear, lamination can be starting to lift (bubble).
