These records are the excess from my personal record collection. I periodically buy in collections to build my personal record collection and I am very fussy, so the majority of these records will have been cherished and in some cases I’d swear that they haven’t actually been played!

I am selling these records in lots and you have to be realistic about the condition of the items and their performance as most are original 1970s and 1980s discs. I am not claiming that they are perfect and you will not be paying a price that would lead to the expectation that they should be.

Having said that, the vinyl in this sale has ALL been visually checked. Most I will have played, most are excellent , some may need a light clean, some may have light scuffs / surface abrasions which I wouldn’t expect to affect their playing subdtantially, NONE have any deep scratches, as far as I can see, that would spoil your enjoyment.

However, please don’t expect them to play exactly like a 2020 180 gram vinyl record as these are produced in operating theatre like conditions. Original vinyl wasn’t and they did hiss, click and pop.

The covers vary from being pristine, very good to good. A very few may have slight damage and on some the glue may have failed on the seams. I haven’t attempted any half hearted or clumsy repairs. Every record is either in it’s printed inner sleeve or in a paper or polythene lined inner cover.
