SLAVIC MOOD DUSKO GOJKOVIC

Original 1975 Ed. RCA / Vista label STEREO W/L PROMO pressing, cat. TPL1 1115, Italy.

Amazing and legendary Jazz session recorded in Rome, at "Studio A" RCA studios in 1974 by the Serbian trumpeter Dusko Gojkovic, author of other famed Jazz albums like the sought-after "SWINGING MACEDONIA" or "BELGRADE BLUES". Recorded on RCA spin-off label VISTA. Outstanding Modal Jazz album with pounding drums played by Joe Nay (mispelled at the bass on back cover credits). An amazing mix of Modern Jazz with killer Hard Bop drumming cues allover, Smooth Jazz and Swing, with a countless number of dope Jazz grooves and samples featuring an insane Eastern flavour. Fantastic album in pristine shape and on its rare Promo edition.

Fascinating album with 3 long suits on side A including stellar boppish drums; eastern horns and piano, heavy eletric bass and doublebass recorded with the quality sound of Italian RCA studios of 1970s. "SLAVIC MOOD", "GOT NO MONEY" on side A and "KOSMET", "EAST OF MONTENEGRO" on side B stand out among the tracks. A legendary masterpiece, enjoy the full streaming .

Side A: SLAVIC MOOD / GOT NO MONEY / NO LOVE WITHOUT TEARS
Side B: OLD FISHERMAN'S DAUGHTER / KOSMET / EAST OF MONTENEGRO / FLYING ROME

Record: fantastic pristine MINT- condition: Sleeve only shows some general yellowing due to time, otherwise perfect.
