It was released in 2008 on the 'Warner Bros. Records' label (cat. no. 470972-2) as a Limited Edition set featuring the album on two candy coloured vinyl discs (pink/white marble-effect, blue/white marble-effect), an exclusive DJ Remix 12” vinyl plus the album on CD. It comes in a stickered, deluxe gatefold sleeve which is sealed.

'Hard Candy' is the eleventh studio album by Madonna, and her final one for the 'Warners' company. It was produced in collaboration with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, The Neptunes and Nate “Danja” Hills. Three singles were released from the album. The first, '4 Minutes', featured guest vocals from Justin Timberlake and it topped the charts in 21 countries. 'Give It 2 Me' and 'Miles Away' followed and were both successful around the world. 'Hard Candy' itself debuted at #1 in 37 countries worldwide, including the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Spain and the UK and became the eleventh best-selling album worldwide of 2008. It has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.

This Limited Edition set includes the full 'Hard Candy' album across two candy-coloured vinyl discs. The first is a white and pink marble/splatter effect disc, while the second is white and blue marble/splatter effect. There is also a bonus 12” vinyl featuring two exclusive remixes of the single '4 Minutes'; one from Tracey Young and the other from Peter Rauhofer. Young is a Grammy Award-winning DJ, producer, remixer and owner of the 'Ferosh Records' label. She has provided remixes for over a hundred artists, including fourteen for Madonna. Her remix of the track 'I Rise' from the 'Madame X' album won her the Grammy Award for 'Best Remixed Recording'. Austrian house producer, remixer and DJ Peter Rauhofer has recorded under a number of aliases since the late 90s, including Club 69 and Size Queen. Some of his mixing credits include Pet Shop Boys, Kylie, Depeche Mode and Seal. The package also includes the 'Hard Candy' album on CD, which comes in a white paper sleeve.
