This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped pressing of Gigi Gryce “Saying Somethin’” on the purple labels of New Jazz NJLP 8230. Side 1 is in beautiful condition, with a nice luster; Side 2 shows light superficial scuffing and inaudible hairlines; plays clean and crisp throughout with just a very low-level and sporadic (non-repetitive) tic. The laminated cover has three sharp corners and unworn seams; the back slick shows age toning, “Preview Copy” stamped along the left border, and moisture spotting along the right edge.
