This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Phil Woods “Pairing Off” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7046. The flat-rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with inaudible splotching, primarily on Side A; perhaps played once, plays as new. The laminated West 50th St. cover is in excellent condition – clean throughout – with normal age toning on the back slick. Original glassine inner sleeve is included.
Personnel include Kenny Dorham, Donald Byrd, Tommy Flanagan, Doug Watkins, and Philly Joe Jones.
