Vesta Layne Mangun is the mother of Pastor Anthony Mangun and the widow of the late Bishop G. A. Mangun who is remembered for growing one of the largest and most influential Apostolic churches in the United Pentecostal Church organization, in the city of Alexandria, Louisiana.
She is the daughter of an East Texas pioneer minister, Royal D. Gibson, and his wife, Eula, Vesta Mangun is a featured speaker at conferences and camp meetings across our nation and around the world. In addition, she is an anointed vocalist and musician.
