The Doobie Brothers released their eighth studio album "Minute By Minute" in December 1978 on Warner Bros. Records. Boosted by the No. 1 and Grammy Award winning single "What A Fool Believes" the album spent 87 weeks on the charts. It was their first album without original lead vocalist Tom Johnston who was replaced by Michael McDonald as they carved out a new musical direction. It was also the last album with guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter and original drummer John Hartman.
This is an extremely rare Brand New copy of (BSK 3193) from the First Pressing in 1978 and is still Sealed in its Original Factory Shrink Wrap. Please see the pictures of this Mint Condition and unopened copy, but note that the photos of the disc labels and inner lyrics sleeve (with the roach on the opposite side) are from another copy. This one was most likely pressed for Columbia House at the Columbia Records plant in Terre Haute, Ind., but it's impossible to tell for sure without opening it and looking at the dead wax.
In addition to its original sealed packaging, this album will come with a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright and unopened on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 43 years.
Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
