Beautiful original 1954 5-disc 78 record boxed set of the songs from A Star is Born starring Judy Garland and James Mason, with songs by Harold Arlen and Ira Gershwin. This is the earliest and rarest release of this music, on Columbia BM-1201. This copy is in gorgeous condition. All five discs are nearly perfect mint and appear barely played. The cover is very nicely intact with a little wear. The top edge of the box "lid" is torn off altogether (see photos), but I still have it if you might want to reattach it somehow. Also there is some light general wear, and a little wear along some of the box seams, but other than that it is in quite lovely shape with hinged record envelope "pages" firmly in place and not loosening at all, a perfect spine, and very little general wear.
