Many of our listed items that qualify for Media Mail shipping are processed at a USPS Network Distribution Center in Memphis, TN. Unfortunately that facility is consistently unable to sort, process, or ship packages on time. To prevent packages from being lost and to ensure our customers receive their orders in a reasonable timeframe, we cannot offer Media Mail as a shipping option for this listing.

This listing is for a Lot Of Two items by Keith Whitley

- The first item is a hard to find Compact Disc titled "Keith Whitley And Friends" that was released in 1995.  It features Keith Whitley performing four of his hit songs, followed by four other artists singing the same songs as a tribute to Keith.  In addition to Keith performing these tracks, we also have Alan Jackson singing "Don't Close Your Eyes"; Tracy Lawrence singing "I'm Over You"; Alison Krauss And Union Station singing "When You Say Nothing At All"; and Joe Diffie singing "I'm No Stranger To The Rain". 

Although this CD is not marked as a Promotional only item, with what little information is available about it online and it's packaging without a front jewel case insert, there is a strong likelihood that this was not commercially available.  The jewel case is in nice shape, as is the bottom insert.  The top side of the Compact Disc is well preserved.  The bottom side is clean and shows light scuffing, however the music plays through fine with no skips or repeats.

- The second item is a sealed copy of the vinyl record album titled "I Wonder Do You Think Of Me".  This LP was released in 1989 and has long been out of print on vinyl.  It features the songs "Talk To Me Texas", Between An Old Memory And Me", "I'm Over You", "Brother Jukebox" and more. 

The jacket has a saw mark near the bottom right corner, and the cover is also lightly curled on the spine edge.  The record inside is unplayed, and there is a possibility that the LP may have a light warp if removed from the jacket. 

All of our LP's are shipped in sturdy cardboard LP mailers with appropriate padding.

With the exception of sealed LP's, all LP's are removed from their outer sleeves to prevent seam splitting.

All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, The Great Escape gives an "overall presentation" grade; we do not give a "listening" grade. Our vinyl listings are supplemented when necessary with additional remarks. For example: where some dealers will not allow a cut corner on an otherwise near mint jacket (often automatically relegating it to a VG+ at best), we may grade such a record as NM and note the cut-out mark (thereby letting you know what it "really" looks like: a near-perfect record with a cut corner). LPs are graded cover first, followed by the grade for the vinyl.
