Stephen Stills released his third studio album "Stills" in June 1975. It was his first release on Columbia Records and with the single "Turn Back The Pages" it was a Top 20 success. Guest vocalists on various tracks include David Crosby, Graham Nash, Rick Roberts, Danny Hutton, Donnie Dacus, and Betty Wright.
This copy of (PC 33575) is from the First Pressing and is in near mint condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and it and the pristine inner lyrics sleeve could easily pass for Brand New if it hadn't been opened. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered for CBS by Alex Sadkin at Customatrix and was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is stamped AL 33575-2B and etched S1 A1.
In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 46 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
