Donald Byrd on Blue Note 4026
This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Donald Byrd “Fuego” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4026. Side 1 has a superficial inaudible haze along one half of the grooves on part of Track 1, all of Track 2, and the beginning of Track 3; Side 2 is near-new, with a high luster. The laminated West 61st cover is clean and bright throughout; minor wear at the opening corners; three small laminations flakes on the bottom seam.
