‘Jubilee’ is the third LP by Japanese Breakfast, the project of Michelle Zuaner. Her first two LPs dealt with the sadness of her mother’s illness and death respectively. With ‘Jubilee’ Zauner has taken inspiration for Bjork’s 1997 LP ‘Homogenic’ and made a big, bold and colourful experimental pop album that is searching for positivity at a time when such things are seemingly scarce.
