Supertramp released their sixth studio album "Breakfast In America" in March 1979 on A&M Records. It spent six weeks at No. 1 on the charts and produced four hit singles including "The Logical Song" and "Goodbye Stranger."
This copy of (SP-3708) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in near-mint condition. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered at A&M Mastering Studios and this copy was pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles. The Side One dead wax is stamped with the A&M trumpet logo and then etched A&M SP3729-M20 (MR) △24160 (41) except for the Monarch (MR) logo which is also stamped.
In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 42 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
