The Allman Brothers Band released their fourth studio album "Brothers And Sisters" in August 1973 on manager Phil Walden's Capricorn Records label. This was the band's first recording following the death of Duane Allman in a motorcycle accident in 1971 and was also the last album with Berry Oakley who died in a similar accident before the records release. It was a huge success reaching No. 1 on the album charts and contains the hit singles "Ramblin' Man" and "Jessica." Butch Trucks son Vaylor is the child pictured on the front cover and Berry Oakley's daughter Brittany is on the back.

Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 48 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
