Bud Powell on Blue Note 1503
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Bud Powell “The Amazing, Volume 1” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1503. The flat rim playing surface is in exceptional condition – nearly flawless – with a high luster; a few very light tics on the intro to Side 2; perhaps played once. The coated Lexington Ave. frame cover is also in extraordinary condition – bright and clean throughout – with just light rubbing along the bottom seam.
