Leon Russell released his triple-disc live concert recording "Leon Live" in 1972 on Shelter Records. It was recorded on August 28, 1972 at the Long Beach Arena in Southern California and includes all of his greatest material from the period including a rockin' 16:15 min. version of "Jumping Jack Flash / Youngblood Medley" and an 11:44 min. performance of the "Mighty Quinn Medley" that were always highlights of Leon's concerts. It made the Top 10 and was a huge success on its way to Gold Record status.

It was mastered by Wally Traugott at Capitol Mastering and this copy was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Los Angeles. The Side One dead wax is etched 1-8917-F-5 1 Wly and stamped ✲.
In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with three high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeves to hold the vinyl discs and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 49 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
