The Beatles released their second album "Meet The Beatles!" in January 1964 on Capitol Records. It zoomed to No. 1 on the charts where it stayed for eleven weeks before being passed by the band's "Second Album." The release was preceded a month earlier by the No. 1 single "I Want To Hold Your Hand."  It's filled with iconic songs including "I Saw Her Standing There" and "All My Loving."
This copy of (ST-2047) is from a 1983 pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover has its gloss and shows only the slightest wear and is Near-Mint for a 38-year-old album. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays perfectly for 11 of 12 tracks but has skips on track B1 ("Don't Bother Me") so I rate it VG. It was mastered by Capitol and this copy was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Side One dead wax is etched 0 ST1-2047-G27 and stamped MASTERED BY CAPITOL.
This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
