Asia released their self-titled debut album "Asia" in March 1982 on Geffen Records. It was a huge success and was the No. 1 album of the year thanks to several hit singles including "Heat Of The Moment," "Only Time Will Tell," and "Soul Survivor." The cover and band's stylized name were done by artist Roger Dean who also did the cover art for Yes. It was recorded at Richard Branson's Townhouse Studios in London's Shepherd's Bush.
This copy of (GHS 2008) is a very rare Brand New and Unopened pressing from 1982 and is in excellent condition. The cover is still Sealed in its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in Mint condition. Please see the pictures but note that shots of the inner sleeve and disc labels are from another copy. It was mastered at Sterling Sound in NYC and this copy was most likely pressed at one of the Capitol Records plants around the country. It's impossible to tell for sure without opening it and reading the dead wax.
