The Moody Blues released their second album "Days Of Future Passed" in November 1967 on Deram Records. It was actually the first album with John Lodge and Justin Hayward and the band and musical style as we know it today. The group was accompanied by the London Festival Orchestra to create their new symphonic rock sound. "Nights In White Satin" and "Tuesday Afternoon" were both hit singles.
This copy of (DES 18012) is in surprisingly good shape for a 50-year-old record. The cover does have significant edge wear and I grade it VG. Please see the pictures. More importantly, the disc test plays cleanly and is easily VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Sam Feldman at Bell Sound in NYC and this copy was pressed in 1971 at the Columbia Records plant in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Side One dead wax is etched ZAL 8078-10 A30 T1 and stamped Bell Sound sf.
This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
