Beautiful copy of the legendary Beatles boot, Strawberry Fields Forever, on the NEMS label. This was the first of a small series of records on this label that really revolutionized the Beatle boot market. Much higher quality than most of the 70s hodgepodge releases, and some really interesting stuff that couldn't be got before that time, like the complete What's the New Mary Jane, Spiritual Regeneration, and a few others. The controversial Peace of Mind is also included, I believe making its first appearance here. Anyhow this is the original (it was reissued in the 90s some time, on a cheaper pressing) and it is in nearly perfect condition. The disc plays flawlessly and the cover has no issues apart from a slight corner ding at the lower left. A top copy.
