"The Greatest Songs Of Woody Guthrie" double disc compilation album was released in 1986 on Vanguard Records. In addition to a half-dozen tracks by Woody Guthrie himself including his anthem "This Land Is Your Land," this tribute record also includes covers by Pete Seeger's group The Weavers, Jack Elliott, Odetta, Cisco Houston, and Country Joe McDonald. Also appearing are The Babysitters which featured a young actor named Alan Arkin on guitar.
This copy of (VSD-35/36) is in excellent condition. The gatefold cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap and is in Near-Mint condition. Please see the pictures but note that the photo of the interior gatefold is from another copy. The discs look to be VG+ but they have not been play tested.
This album will come with two high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeves and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will come t to you in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
