Original Decca stereo copy of the soundtrack LP for the famed 1964 Rankin/Bass television special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, on Decca DL-74815, featuring Burl Ives. NOT the cheap, awful-sounding MCA repress! The original issue sounds so so much better, as this copy proves. The disc here is in very nearly perfect mint condition and plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover, however, has some water damage at the bottom, as you can see in the photos. Nonetheless it is intact and still gets the visual point across. Anyhow the disc is beautiful and well worth having for someone who wants the music.
