*Yeah, I know, some people are going to say all these aren't really girl groups. The Essex were four marines, three black guys and a white girl (Anita Humes) who was the lead vocalist, but they did sound like a girl group in the heyday of girl groups. The Orlons had a guy in the group but they did indeed sound like a girl group. The McIntryre Sisters, aka Patience & Prudence were a sort of proto-girl group beginning their brief musical recording career in 1956. The Quin-Tones were a mixed [male/female] five or six member doo-wop group from York, PA, but on this, their most popular single, they sound like a girl group. The rest are pretty obviously girl groups.

All records have been play-tested and found to be in decent condition. Some have a bit more surface noise than others, but none were bad enough to detract from the music. Others were pretty good. (We threw out at least a half-dozen records in the genre that didn't make the cut.) Grade-wise, it would be from the lower end of VG to the middle of VG+. If you're expecting perfection, look elsewhere. Of course, finding these 45s in exceptional condition is going to cost you a lot, and there is no way you could buy all these 45s individually at this price in nearly any condition. Many of them are on the original label too. The paper sleeves are mostly generic and not graded, being there only to keep vinyl from rubbing against vinyl.
