Billy Joel released his sixth studio album "52nd Street" in October 1978 on Columbia Records. It was his first No. 1 record and won a Grammy for Album Of The Year. It sold a bizillion copies worldwide and includes the monster singles "My Life," "Big Shot," and "Honesty."
This copy of (FC 35609) is from the First Pressing and is in excellent condition. The cover has only minor edge wear and is easily VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc Test Plays cleanly and is also easily VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in NYC and this copy was probably pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Pitman, NJ. The Side One dead wax is etched AL 35609 1CA B7 and stamped STERLING 0.
This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it may have some minor imperfections.
