This listing is for the classic release by Death, The Sound of Perseverance. DEATH, the heavy metal institution founded, realized, and helmed by legendary guitarist Chuck Schuldiner, released its final studio album The Sound of Perseverance (’98) to massive worldwide critical acclaim. The Sound of Perseverance is the masterstroke of one of metal’s true pioneers and innovators, and indeed worthy of the worship, adoration, and accolades that announced its original release.
This red/orange with black splatter colored variant was limited to 400. Please note that this is indeed a brand new/unplayed copy, but it came in a sleeve that was not sealed.
This piece was never displayed anywhere It was set on an IKEA shelf which has been covered by a drop cloth to keep out UV rays. It is new/unplayed I've provided images of all four corners for your review.
On the sleeve grading, I never grade sleeves as mint as you can always find some minor imperfection if you look hard enough. Check out the images and judge for yourself.
