records don't have to be black. they just tend to be that color. i remember the 1st non-black record i had ever seen... the first Dave Mason album. caucasian colored with other colors randomly added... every one was different. the green, red, yellow streaks and blobs... we called it the vomit record. picture discs... those were fun. single color vinyl... purple, blue, green. red like this one. they've done for a long time... pre-lp, pre-vinyl. i have a red 78 from the 50s of dinah shore singing the "see the usa in your chevrolet" song. this album is red. it's rush doing... rush stuff.
