Vinyl album LAKERS MAGIC 1980 Denny’s SEALED. Oh my , the 1979-80 basketball season ! My senior year of high school. The year the NBA introduced the 3-point shot. My Lakers (well ok , Jerry Buss’ Lakers) took “Showtime” to the NBA finals against the 76ers. Kareem’s out for Game 6 with ankle sprain so Magic starts at center. I’m watching from Camp Curry in Yosemite Valley and see Magic’s incredible 42-point , 15-rebound performance bring the title home to LA. Relive the moments with Chicky Baby. “This one’s in the refrigerator; the eggs are cooling; the butter’s getting hard and the jello is jiggling !!” Condition note : final photo shows creased corner in album cover and small tear in shrink wrap.
