This is a rare absolutely gorgeous original 1971 first pressing copy of Joni Mitchell's classic of classics, Blue, on Reprise LP MS-2038, PLUS a rare copy of the original 1971 songbook, also in almost pristine condition. The disc is on the original label with no Warner logo. It is pretty much completely perfectly mint. I don't even see the slightest sleeve scuff or hear the slightest tiny tick or crackle. Plays flawlessly. One of the best playing copies I have ever come across that wasn't actually new. Just beautiful.  You know that the music is very quiet and delicate on this album and the slightest tick can really ruin the listening experience. You won't have any issues listening to this copy. It plays perfectly. The cover has very little of the usual wear this record normally has. Just a touch of very faint ringwear on the back, and some very minor edge and corner wear. Really an incredibly well-preserved copy! It is easily one of the best first-pressing covers I have ever seen. Usually this cover is very worn, even when it was well cared-for. Almost all copies have terrible ringwear and fading. This is a top copy in every sense. A perfect player and an unbelievably clean cover. Almost unbeatable.

An absolutely beautiful copy of the incredibly rare 1971 Blue Songbook, with lyrics and music for all the songs plus a number of lovely photos. This songbook is also usually way mor worn, if you ever find it at all. Together this is an absolutely beautiful set of Blue, one of the most beloved records ever.
