Arguably the Beatles' most intentionally psychedelic album, even moreso than Sgt. Pepper's and the White Album. The Beatles never considered it a real album, just soundtrack songs from their Magical Mystery Tour film, and a collection of previously released singles. For them, it might have been better if there was no film and the singles no released before the album. Be that as it may, it is still great music, and thew album includes the 24-page booklet with scenes from the film.

This is a 1977 reissue on the purple Capitol label, and a Winchester pressing, an odd variant with matrices from 1976 orange label pressing but on later purple labels. This was the last regular reissue on Capitol with the 24-page booklet.

I'm grading the cover as EXCELLENT although some purists might balk at that because part of the booklet is loose (big deal). The record has been completely play-tested, looks and sounds NEAR MINT, so there's no disputing that.
