Donovan released his third album "Sunshine Superman" in August 1966 on Epic Records. It was on the charts for six months, peaking at No. 11 and is his most successful release. The title track "Sunshine Superman" was his only single release to hit No. 1 on the charts.
This copy of (BN 26217) is from the First Pressing as identified by the yellow Epic disc labels with the word Nonbreakable printed on them. The cover is solid but has some dry ink smears on the back and the disc label has a name written on it so I grade it as VG. Please see the pictures. The disc has some scuffs but Test Plays cleanly with no skips and is VG+. It was mastered at Customatrix and this copy was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Pitman, NJ. The Side One dead wax is stamped XSB115113-1D and etched 0 A1 P.
This album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve. It will ship securely in the special corrugated Album Mailer seen in the last picture.
