Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath, first Pressing 1970, Vertigo Swirl, Record and sleeve in good condition
The first heavy metal album and this is a first pressing from 1970 with the gatefold sleeve. The vinyl is clean and plays with no major issues. There is surface noise but nothing significant. Similarly the sleeve has some marks but nothing to detract.
The label is the Vertigo Swirl serial number: VO 6 847 903 VTY . I was given this LP as a 15 year old and unfortunately the original owner wrote their name on the label- it is faint but visible.
Own a piece of music history.
On 09-Jul-22 at 18:53:52 BST, seller added the following information:PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED BY SOMEONE TO SAY THIS IS NOT A FIRST PRESSING. I CANT ADJUST THE DESCRIPTION BUT IN THE INTERESTS OF TRANSPARENCY I AM NOW NOT 100% CERTAIN IT IS A FIRST PRESSING NOW. SO I SUGGEST TREAT AS AN EARLY PRESSING. IF YOU WISH TO WITHDRAW YOUR BID PLEASE DO SO. THANK YOU.
