Red Garland on Prestige 7181
This is the original deep-groove
RVG-stamped pressing of Red Garland “Soul Junction” on the yellow and
black labels of Prestige PRLP 7181. The
playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played
once or twice. The laminated cover is
bright and clean throughout; ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening; ¾” wear
at the bottom of the spine; slight flaking along the opening edge; two small chips at the right edge of the back slick.
Personnel include John Coltrane, Donald Byrd, Art Taylor, and George Joyner.
