Absolutely beautiful copy of the second ever album by the Andrews Sisters, their 1947 Collection of Tropical Songs 4-78 album set on Decca A-551. Features their huge hit Rum and Coca Cola, as well as their wonderful versions of the Carmen Miranda numbers South American Way and Tico-Tico, plus more. There is even an advertisement for their recently-released first album in the back (I also have a copy of this album posted here on ebay). All four discs are absolutely gorgeous and play flawlessly. Barely a single mark to be seen; they look barely touched. The album is in great shape as well with an intact and fully readable spine and very little edge or corner wear. The boards are a little curved and there is a touch of water staining at the bottom, but I think it could be flattened out again if you take the records out and put it under a heavy book or something for a couple of days. Anyhow it doesn't affect how lovely this set is; a truly top, top copy, very hard to find in any condition, and especially in this beautiful condition. Almost impossible to beat.
