Grading Specs

All Records are Professionally cleaned and tested.  Each Album has a 3mil Outer sleeve and Rice Paper Archival quality Anti-static Record Sleeve.  Original sleeves are the Sleeves that came with the records, stored in the cover.

I am very hard on grading and hold to the Goldmine Standards.  See below.

Mint (M) –
Record:  No Scuffs or scratches.
Cover/Sleeve:  No blotches, stains, discoloration, stickers, ring wear, dinged corners, sleeve splits or writing.  NOTE:  This is reserved for sealed records only

Near mint –
Record:  Shiny Surface, free of visible defects.  No Surface noise at playback.
Cover/Sleeve:  Free of creases, ring wear and seam splits and no retail cutout marks.

Very Good Plus (VG+)
Record:  Light scuff marks or very light scratches that don’t affect the audio. May be slightly warped, providing it doesn’t cause audio issues. 
Cover/Sleeve:  Outer cover may show some minor seam wear or a split, providing its 1 inch or less.  Cutouts can be present, may show slight creasing around outline of the record.

Very Good (VG)
Record:  Lacks original glossy finish.  Groove wear is evident visibly.  Light Scratches are deep enough to feel with fingernail.  Playback there is surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially during low audio areas.
Cover/Sleeve:  Obvious signs of handling and normal wear.  Ring wear present in the middle or along edges of cove.  Seam splits may appear on all three sides.  Cover may have writing or a label/price tag.  Cover may be dull or discolored, have bent corners, stains, or other issues. 

Very Good Minus (VG-)
Record:  Surface sheen is almost gone, but the record plays through without skipping.  Significant surface noise and groove wear.
Cover/Sleeve:  Shows significant ring wear with bad seam splits.  Writhing may be present. Expect dings and dog-eared edges.

Genre:  Christmas Description:  For your consideration is an original Vinyl Album featuring Johnny Cash (The Man in Black) on his titled album called Classic Christmas.  The record has been cleaned, Fully Play tested and inserted into inner and outer Sleeves to protect the cover and LP.  The vinyl does have surface scuffs, but the audio is Flawless.  The album has the original shrink wrapping.
