Here is a vintage Oregon vinyl album from 1978: the acclaimed "Out of the Woods" release. Oregon was among the groups that captured the improvisational, acoustic jazz sound of the era (cf. the Paul Winter Consort, Earl Klugh, Larry Coryell, et. al.) They have been labelled by some as "fusion jazz", with folk, classical, Indian, and free improv. influences.
Ralph Towner, Glen Moore, Paul McCandless, and Colin Walcott were members of this group. They flourished in the 70's - 90's, re-gathered in the Aughts, but by 2018 it was reported that they stopped touring for good.
The album and the vinyl are in generally good + condition. There are shelf wear marks on the cover--especially at the corners--but the litho is good and the colors are consistent. We note no staining, and the central photo is in near-pristine color. The album has one piece of vinyl, but the cover opens book-style. The vinyl itself is pressed well and without overt scratches. We do see a smudge (see photo 9) which we didn't want to remove so as not to damage the surface.
The vinyl has a white sleeve; we do not know if this was the original one.
