Ramones Leave Home Sire LP Vinyl Hype:Sheena Is A Punk Rocker Picture Sleeve.
Album is collector/audiophile grade, cover is AVG+/VG. Jacket shows average wear for an item of its vintage not limited to: $3.50 second-hand price tag (dated Dec. 1981!). Grab mark on front to Dee Dee's right, Light ringwear, some tiny marks in center of back cover, light indentation running through back cover album credits (doesn't go through finish or graphics). Most copies of this album have had their share of pizza parties, so in pretty nice shape over all. Picture sleeve is un-yellowed and intact, with only small central escape marks, likely occurring in storage, not re-sleeving. Pictures are of actual copy, NOT stock photos, and intend to highlight what flaws there may be, NOT to hide them. All pieces sold AS IS so ask any reasonable questions prior to auctions close. Buy this and pour out a Yoo-Hoo for Seymour Stein.
I’m selling the LP collection of a family friend. As one of the original used buyers at Amoeba San Francisco I’m well-suited to trading albums, and the quality of the vinyl condition is something I rarely saw at the buy counter there. The original owner purchased most new and only listened to them a short number of times before recording to reel-to-reel tape. Although well stored over the years, the quality of most covers is in the average to above range. In all but a few cases you will be blown away by the condition of the discs, if medium whelmed by the jackets. As a professional reseller I would place this collection at B+ overall, with the vinyl graded closer to A-/NM. Shipping may be combined on multiple orders.
