• Description: The Story of Star Wars Original UK First Pressing 1977 Vinyl LP Collectible Rare

The Story of Star Wars is a 1977 record album presenting an abridged version of the events depicted in the film Star Wars, using dialogue and sound effects from the original film.

The recording was produced by George Lucas and Alan Livingston, and was narrated by Roscoe Lee Browne. The script was adapted by E. Jack Kaplan and Cheryl Gard. The album was released on 20th Century Fox Records (T-550) and came with an illustrated book.

The original film became a hit in the days before home video, so for many fans at the time, this album was the closest to owning a copy of the film they could revisit whenever they wanted. The album was also released on compact cassette, 8-track tape, and 4-track reel-to-reel audio tape. It was a commercial success and achieved Gold Record status

• Condition: Good but sadly the booklet has fallen apart slightly and the record sleeve is a little worn but still a GREAT item and priced with these flaws in mind - The photos are of the Actual item so please study carefully before buying and if you have any questions it's easier for both yourself and me if you please ask before receiving the item & having to return it
