LABEL: Seeburg Music Library Inc

CONDITION: Twenty-nine records ranging from Fair to Near Mint, with the majority being Very Good to Excellent. The records have various colored labels, Place-In-Use dates and catalog numbers.

DESCRIPTION: These are non-standard 9" records with a 2" center hole. The records were meant to be played on the Seeburg BMS music system or can also be played on early consumer record players that have a 16rpm speed setting. The Seeburg 1000 Background Music System was a phonograph designed and built by the Seeburg Corporation to play easy-listening background music from special 9-inch, 16 RPM vinyl records in offices, restaurants, retail businesses, factories and similar locations. Seeburg provided a service at that time similar to that of Muzak.
