Sonny Rollins on Prestige 7047
This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove pressing of Sonny Rollins “Tenor Madness” on the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7047. The flat rim playing surface is MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once, if at all. The laminated West 50th St. cover is in extraordinary condition: nearly immaculate throughout, with just the slightest wear at the bottom corners. Personnel include John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. Original glassine inner sleeve is included.
