GARY NUMAN

NEW ANGER

1989 LP

I.R.S. RECORDS
 IRS-82005

Ninth solo studio album by Gary Numan was released in the U.K. as 'Metal Rhythm,' but For its American release, and against Numan's wishes, the record label (I.R.S.) changed the album's title to 'New Anger,' changed the artwork colour shade from black to blue, remixed several of its tracks and even replaced two tracks ("Hunger" and "Young Heart") with tracks originally recorded for Numan's sixth solo studio album, 'Berserker.' Still, it's a pretty decent album, and hard to find on vinyl because American buyers were leaving vinyl and heading toward CDs in 1989.

The vinyl has been VPI cleaned, and is Near Mint. Cover is Excellent with only a ding at the center of the spine-side and a small closed tear by the open edge.
