From Japan, this is Atlas Records 1004/1007, Sonny Stitt Grovin' High / Atlas Blues, the complete original issues from these quintets featuring Art Pepper. These two volumes, recorded over 4 consecutive days were originally sold separately but are bundled together here. The records are in Near Mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The covers are excellent and intact. The labels are excellent. Both inserts are excellent with sharp corners. The records were played on a Linn Sondek LP12 and cleaned on a VPI 17.
