Don Cherry on Blue Note 84226
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo “P”-pressing of Don Cherry “Complete Communion” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BST-84226. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. Side 1 has the Plastylite “P” struck in two different areas of the dead wax. The coated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; 1 1/4” wear/split on the bottom seam, at the opening. Personnel include Gato Barbieri, Henry Grimes, and Ed Blackwell. $100.00.
