Lovely copy of the true original 1955 first pressing LP of Bing Crosby’s classic Merry Christmas LP on Decca DL-8128. Original first pressing with black and silver star labels and the original back cover with Bing’s photo. This copy also comes in its original “baggie” from the Record Rack record store in Hollywood. The disc has some surface scuffs and light marks but they are very much superficial and don’t affect the play. The whole thing plays near flawlessly and just beautifully. Maybe the tiniest crackle between some songs but barely. Really a lovely sounding copy. The cover is nearly immaculate except for a rubbed corner at the lower right, some very light edge wear at the bottom, and a very slight bit of soft creasing at the top right. Really it is just beautiful with no seam splits or even ringwear. This is a truly beautiful original copy, hard to top.
