This listing is for the classic 2-LP repress of A Picture of Nectar from Phish. This "Grape Apple Pie" purple and red color variant was pressed to a limited run and sold out very quickly. I purchased this for myself as I’m a lover of vinyl records. It is new/sealed/unplayed. This piece was never displayed anywhere. It was set on an IKEA shelf which has been covered by a drop cloth to keep out UV rays. I've provided images of all four corners for your review. Please note that this one has a slight deformation in one corner, and even smaller imperfections in two other corners. Take a look at the images closely.
From Phish:
New Grape Apple Pie 2-LP 140g pressing of A Picture Of Nectar, the band's third full-length studio album. The album was mastered by Bob Ludwig and released by Elektra February 18, 1992 on CD and cassette. The album went on to be certified Gold. In 2014, Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers from the original stereo master reels for the vinyl edition.
A Picture Of Nectar was recorded in 1991 at White Crow Studios in Burlington, Vermont on 24-track 2" tape and mixed to 1/2" stereo reels. This was the band's major label debut and the start of a long relationship with Elektra. It was also their tribute to Nectar Rorris, owner of Nectar's in Burlington, where Phish played many multiple night stands in the 1980's that in their words "taught us how to play."
The material displayed the growing extent and diversity of Phish's talents honed throughout eight years of rehearsals and hundreds of live shows. Twenty two years later, nearly every song on A Picture Of Nectar is still in live rotation today.
Info on my listings: Most of my items are new/unplayed, with a few exceptions. (Check the listing for certainty here.) All items have been stored in a climate-controlled environment. Ships via media mail.
Please note that I ship my LPs either wrapped in bubble wrap, with padding on the corners, or in well protected mailers that have extra cardboard to mitigate sleeve damage. New vinyl records are not always perfect. Even new LPs will have the occasional pop or crackle, which is part of the charm of vinyl.
Shipping to continental US only. All sales final.
