• One of the biggest studio albums of all time by American rock band Big Brother and the Holding Company, issued by Columbia Records in 1968. Cheap Thrills was the band's second and final album with lead singer Janis Joplin before she left to begin a solo career.

• Gatefold album with art by R. Crumb. Initially, the album was to be called Sex, Dope and Cheap Thrills, but the title was not received well by Columbia Records. Spent 8 weeks in the number 1 spot on the charts.

• Grading based on visual inspection and close listening, not by pro rating company. Very good sound and overall good condition. Inner dust sleeve missing. See photos. Some light fading to cover and evidence of light ring wear with some signs of moisture exposure and album shelf edge wear — fairly typical for an item in storage for over 55 years.
