Beautiful original 1945 copy of Harry James’ classic recording of It’s Been a Long, Long Time b/w Autumn Serenade on Columbia 78rpm 36838. Featured in the Avengers End Game...
This copy is just stunning. There are a handful of superficial scuffs but they don’t affect the play. Both sides are shiny and unclouded. They play loud and clear with barely the slightest background noise. Really a great playing copy. There is an edge chip on side 2, which does not touch the grooves (see photo), and a lamination crack on that side as well (see other photo), which is not deep. I don’t even hear a tiny tick on that side at all. You can see a very slight depression on the opposite side, but it really does not affect the play in the least. Really it is a beautiful sounding copy. Very hard to top.
